Founded and chaired by Alexander Sanger, grandson of Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger, the International Planned Parenthood Council is a group of dedicated individuals who serve as ambassadors and advisors to IPPF/WHR.

Through their leadership and essential support, IPPF Council Members help carry the message that sexual and reproductive healthcare is a fundamental human right to new and wide-ranging audiences while helping to enhance IPPF/WHR’s profile, resources, and effectiveness.
