Betsy Uribe
Member Association Administrative Liaison
Betsy came to IPPF/WHR with more than 10 years of experience managing international projects and teams in the United States and Dominican Republic. As the Member Association Administrative Liaison, she supports IPPF/WHR's core grants process, administers the Capacity Building Fund, and facilitates Member Association (MA) compliance in reporting. Betsy also coordinates the annual MA Analysis Process and assists with the South-to-South technical assistance program.
Before moving to the US, Betsy worked with international NGOs, the Israeli Embassy, and her family's business in the Dominican Republic. She is a trained doula and holistic healing practitioner, and volunteers for AFS Intercultural Programs to promote intercultural understanding.
Betsy holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business and a post-graduate degree in International Management from the Ecole Internationale des Affairs et du Management in Martinique. She also has certification in Project Management for Development Organizations.
