Jan Dahms
Chief Financial Officer
Jan Dahms joined IPPF/WHR as Chief Financial Officer in 2008 and manages the organization's transparent budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of the organization’s activities. She is responsible for fiscal risk management, regulatory and compliance functions, and treasury activities.
Jan possesses 20 years of experience designing, implementing, and managing fiscal infrastructures for corporate and non-profit organizations. She is particularly committed to bringing best business practices into the philanthropic sector, and helping organizations become more efficient, transparent, and accountable.
Prior to IPPF/WHR, Jan served as Vice President of Accounting and Controls at Teach For America, a $100M organization with 27 regional sites. She also served as Manager of Fiscal Management Services at Fiscal Management Associates, a NYC-based consulting firm, and as Chief Financial Officer of Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri.
Jan holds a Master of Business Administration in International Business. She loves to travel and is passionate about experiencing new places, things, and people.
