Kathleen Rivera

Senior Bilingual Administrative Assistant - Development and Public Affairs

Kathleen has been with IPPF/WHR since 2010 providing support to the Development and Advocacy teams. Her responsibilities include overseeing the daily administrative operations within the department, logistical and travel planning, and maintaining filing systems and consultant contracts. Kathleen also ensures compliance for annual state solicitation filings and maintains IPPF/WHR's online charity profiles.

Before joining IPPF/WHR, Kathleen worked for six years as an education and outreach coordinator at a Boston-based non-profit that assists survivors of domestic violence. She is an alumni of LISC AmeriCorps, where she served as a community organizer for a grassroots community development organization.

Kathleen is presently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management at St. Josephs College in Brooklyn, New York.

What's the most amazing thing you've seen while traveling?
When visiting Puerto Rico for the first time, I climbed up to one of the highest mountain peaks to see an amazing panoramic view of the countryside where my parents grew up.
