Rebecca supports the coordination of IPPF/WHR’s advocacy efforts in global and regional UN processes. She also serves as the focal point for youth-related advocacy initiatives with Member Associations.
Prior to joining IPPF/WHR in 2013, Rebecca supported regional sexual and reproductive rights advocacy and strategic litigation while interning with Women’s Link Worldwide in Bogotá and the Center for Reproductive Rights. She also worked as an Associate for the Global Partnerships team at AmeriCares, identifying and responding to significant disparities in health among marginalized populations in Latin America, the Middle East, and the United States. Rebecca has served as President and Vice President of Law Students for Reproductive Justice’s National Board of Directors.
Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Middlebury College and a Juris Doctor in International Human Rights from the University of Washington School of Law.
