Your Future. Your Choice. Your Contraceptives.
Who is better equipped to solve issues related to adolescent sexual and reproductive health than young people themselves? In celebration of World Contraception Day, we’ve joined forces with MTV Latin America, Bayer, and the Latin American Center for Health and Women to launch the “Agents of Change” contest, which gives Latin American and Caribbean youth leaders an opportunity to broadcast their ideas to the entire world.
Are you up for the challenge?
Here’s how it works: Tell us what you do to promote sexual and reproductive health in your community and include a picture, photo, song, or video that promotes the use of contraceptives and sexual rights. The deadline for submissions is August 13, 2012.
Three stories will be selected and the winners’ submissions will be filmed and produced as television spots to air on MTV Latin America. If that weren’t cool enough, the three winners will also be recognized at a ceremony where they will be honored with a Chiuku MTV award, which has been presented to celebrities like Paulina Rubio, Calle 13, and DJ David Guetta.
